Dan Farr

Associate Field Director

As Upstream’s Associate Field Network Director, Dan works alongside Justin and works to build, grow, and further develop the Field Network, which consists of the places, churches, and people to whom Upstream churches send. He serves sent ones, Field Network leaders, and our U.S.-based sending churches.

In this role, he specifically seeks to encourage and coach the Field Network leaders, which are a community of leaders that relate to one another across nationalities, learn from one another in ministry, develop meaningful relationships, and live out Upstream’s missiological values and field team practices.

Dan, Kelly, and their 3 adult children, started their journey among the Mixtec people of southern Mexico 2 decades ago. After seeing churches developed within that region, they shifted their focus to training, mobilizing, and raising up future sent ones to the least reached nations of the world. This desire of working alongside the church and individuals led him into his current position of helping churches send healthy workers, while offering care and coaching along the way.
